PeteD22
Hi My POD 500X has developed a fault in that when I hit the "B" (FS6) footswitch to change presets, it does not light up, but lights up FS2 instead. Has anyone got any ideas as to how I can fix this please? Thanks
hurghanico
Apart from the unexpected behavior of the leds, is the desired preset actually selected when you press FS6? _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips
PeteD22
Hi thanks for replying. No it doesn't. It selects FS2 on whatever preset I'm on (A C or D). The only way I can select preset B is if I'm connected via my laptop. Hope that makes sense.
hurghanico
I suspect 2 things: 1) you may have inadvertently changed the footswitch mode setting from FS ABCD to FS 5-8 directly on the device.. press and hold the VIEW button to access the system settings and check that setting 2) perhaps there are multiple effects (some on and some off) assigned to the one footswitch in the current preset One more thing: you should avoid selecting presets directly on the device when the Editor is still running, sync problem and delays can easily happen.. Until the Editor is running use just the Editor commands. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All about POD HD500/X help and useful tips
