MauroDave
Hello everybody, I have a helix lt and so I use helix edit. I'm about to switch from windows pc to mac. Taking a new macbook now though, the installed operating system is the new bigsur. in this official page where to download the helix edit software for mac: https://line6.com/software/index.html?hardware=All&name=HX%20Edit&os=All&submit_form=set not necessarily compatible with mac bigsur. Has anyone already used it? can you confirm that everything works correctly? Thanks so much everyone for the help!
guitarboy_02451
HX Edit 3.01 will work on Big Sur Intel, however, when you shift focus from HX Edit to another application, HX Edit loses connectivity to the HX device (Helix, HX Stomp, HX FX), etc... This is known issue, but not a show stopper. As soon as you need to go back to HX Edit, just click the "reconnect" button at the bottom. Otherwise it will work just fine. ulrich_keller
HX Edit will work, but Helix won't. Audio interface crashes every ten minutes, I have to change setting to reset connection. Sometimes the Mac freezes for 10 secs. Support simply answer Big Sure is not supported, no release date is known.

I won't have any problems while he plays the base right? Thanks so much
soundog
A huge benefit in switching to Mac is that you can use smaller and more modern fonts. ;-) 1

vicio_music
HI all, same issue with BigSur 11.3 and Mac Mini M1; If you switch to other application (and it's normal to switch and use other apps) HX Edit loses connectivity. Sometimes if you click on HX Reconnect button you get error and also a system freeze for 10 seconds. So still not solved this issue even with HX 3.10 and HX Stomp with 3.11;

So still not solved this issue even with HX 3.10 and HX Stomp with 3.11; I’ve not had any issues with my M1 Mac Mini and Big Sur. I’ve left HX Edit open for days without it losing connection to the hardware. I suspect that these sort of issues have less to do with Big Sur and more more with particular hardware.
