dhaawal3
Hi guys, I wanted a little help out here. i have a line 6 Spider IV 15 watt amp. I wanted to get a looper to it and i zeroed down on the boss rc-5 looper. But then I got to know that it wouldn’t work in the amp properly. so I decided if I should get the line 6 Pod go multi effect pedal. i want to understand if it’s right decision I’m making since I don’t intend on a buying a new amp at the moment and plan on continuing with the spider IV amp. it would be helpful if someone could help me get some clarity on this. Thanks
fflbrgst
Using a looper on the input of an amp with effects means that you cannot change the amp effects when you add a part to the looped track, as it will change the sound of the loop track as well. I am guessing that's what you mean by "it wouldn’t work in the amp properly". The POD GO does not have a looper function. I find it kind of funny that you are stuck on using a $99 bedroom practice amp,. but willing to spend $500 on an 'all in one' effects pedal! Fury90flier
Since that petal has two output jacks you could maybe run one into your CD input and the other into your guitar input of the amp... Do you happen to be using any of the pod floorboards?
Sanderson032
What's the real difference between a Spider V or an AMPLIFi? They both have access to a massive range of amp models, effects and have an editor.
