smitymike11 Posted March 1, 2014 Share Posted March 1, 2014 I bought a used line 6 spider iii hd75 and a 4x12 slant cab. I bought it since the price was worth it for just the cab. The guy I bought it from told me he could not get any sound from the amp. When I got it home I hooked it up and there was a loud hum and some crackling. No matter what I did it did not go away. After about the third time of turning it on the hum went away and there is no sound at all, all the light light up just no sound. I took the amp apart and found that the chip on the heat sink looked like it blew. Is there a way to replace it and where do I get the parts? Do I need to replace the hole board?
