Factory reset of Tunings for Variax JTV59

Recommended Posts

Hello, have tried to change the tuning on my new variax jt59 and now the tuning knob is blue with the changed tuning, rest still white, How can I get the original tuning back to factory set? Complete factory reset with monkey6 failed. Thanks for answer, manual is not up to date upon this.

If you have the interface accessory kit, then try using that to re-Flash.

-Connect as you normally would.

-Insert the charged up JTV battery into the battery box.

-Plug a stereo 1/4" (TRS) headphone adapter into the 1/4" jack, listen for the click of the relay.

-The interface device LED's should both be green.

-Proceed with the update using Monkey.

If that doesn't do it, then it should be checked out by an authorized service center in your area.

When you change the tuning on the tuning knob ex you change the Drop D with a Drop C on the knob , the Drop D will be blue light to remember you that this tuning is changed. it's not a default.

If you want to get the White light again, just change the tuning with the original.

This can be done with Workbench>tuning> manage
