How to connect my Pod Go to Super Reverb

Just wondering how I should set my Pod Go up to go in my Super (No effects loop). Essentially am only using effects, by passing Amps and cabs. Should I plug into the Amps normal Input 1 (low gain) or plug in to number 2?

Is there anything I need to set on the Pod Go? LIne out? Instrument out etc?
ATM I just plug in the guitar into Guitar in and Amp out to the front of the amplifier. Any help or advice appreciated

Yep. Instrument out level. Keep your level down to avoid clipping.  I prefer the low input, more headroom. If you do use the amp/cab then turn off the cab.

I use it like that with various amps, tube/SS/hybrid. I use the amp (without cab) as an additional dirt/eq block to "flavor" the preset. Been gigging it a lot, works great.

Good luck & have fun!!

Whether you want to turn the cab on or off depends purely on what you prefer tonally. It's a complete misconception to assume that just because you're going through real amp speakers that you have to turn cab models off. They provide additional tonal versatility that you can't get from the amp itself.  Experiment and see what you like.

I prefer the tones with the cab. A 4x12 cab model makes e.g. my Marshall models sound bigger, fuller and with more bottom end than e.g. a real 1x12 or 2x12 cab. Just go by your ears.
