After a first problem with the update now everything solved thanks to this splendid forum (the pc went on stand-by by itself during the update -.- ') a question for safety: when it shuts down, is there a particular procedure to preserve the helix at its best? some stand by or just turns off? at the moment I unplug the guitar, close helix edit and hit the off button Thank you all Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cruisinon2 Posted August 10, 2021 Share Posted August 10, 2021 Actually there's a new shutdown procedure: 1) Burn some sage. 2) Chant supplications to the Gods. 3) Flip the power switch. For me it is the most worry-free, capable, and enjoyable piece of music gear I ever owned. … but read the manual, all of it at least once! You may not need a lot of what your LT can do, but there will be times when you wonder whether it can or how to best do things and a few of your gray cells will report there was something possibly related in the manual.
