mixymax
A few days ago I purchased a used POD xt Live. The unit appears to be in perfect condition and I have no cause to think it is faulty in an way. I Have no idea how it all works at this stage and if I am honest I am a complete novice with computers. I have downloaded the programmes: LINE 6 EDIT and LINE 6 MONKEY as per the online / manual guidance. My problem is when I get to the "GET TONE" section and click on the desired tune my iTunes library opens up on screen and I can't get any further with it!! I am using Windows 7 Should I be downloading some other software to enable me to 'get the tone'?? Any advice would be much appreciated
TheRealZap
you can't "get tone" from a song file? is that what you are trying to do?
mixymax
Hi - many thanks for responding to my quest.... I believe the answer to be YES. Rightly or wrongly I was under the impression that it was possible to get these tones and save them to my own unit or is that not the case? TheRealZap
you can get tones and get them to your unit... its just not automatic... and not linked to any songs... go to http://customtone.com to get the tones... as long as you have the software installed (monkey, gearbox, drivers) you should be able to put the tones you download into your pod.
