Scrubbin Posted September 24, 2021 Share Posted September 24, 2021 I own a UX2 Toneport sound board that I use to connect my XLR mic to my computer It's been working fine until I swapped out my computer for a new one. Now when selecting my UX2 the mic picks up nothing. Instead my computer uses "USB Microphone." and that detects the sound going into my Mic. People have noted my mic quality has completely gone down the drain now. describing it as a "drivethru voice." I don't know how or why but I can only assume the mic sound quality is getting crushed like a USB mic. I can't find anyway to change it from being a USB microphone. please help.
