slammer88 1 Posted May 24, 2013 Hello again. I've been having this sound drop problem like 2 years, even in my old GX. But after some tests, i've found the exact reason of my problem. I'm using AMD and whenever i activate Cool'n'Quiet function, which drops the cpu voltage and speed while not in use, this sound problem happens. I've disabled that last week, and not a single sound drop has ever happened! AMD users should consider this, and as far as i know there's a similar function in Intel as well. Disable it, and voila!
