anscooke Posted October 23, 2021 Share Posted October 23, 2021 I just got my HX Stomp so I'm playing around with HX Edit. I'm trying to set up a chain that goes Distortion --> Volume pedal --> Delay --> Verb. I figured out the polarity switch stuff with my Dunlop Mini, and it works great with the Volume block set to EXP 2. I can have a distorted swell going into my delay and verb. However, I want that patch output available for an external footswitch, so I'm trying to get the volume pedal set up in my FX loop instead. I put in a FX loop block, set it as FX Loop L/R (patch cables are going Stomp Send to DVP In, DVP Out to Stomp Ret L). It works perfectly as far as controlling the volume after my distortion, but the delay and verb don't come in. Is there another setting in the subsequent block after the FX Loop block that I need to tell it to take the signal from the Return? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
