Hello everyone, I found a problem when USING POD GO

I always put the volume pedal to the highest(min), But then when I turn it on again

the volume is the maximum,Is there any way to solve this problem?

I am very grateful to the friends of the official forum who have provided me with a lot of help.  Thank you again!

The VOL pedal behaviour in this context is controlled in two ways.

1) Global Settings -> Switches / Pedals, on page 2 of the parameters, EXP 1 position and EXP 2 position. From the manual, these parameters:

“Determines whether the POD Go expression pedal positions are recalled per snapshot, per preset, or applied globally. If you want a Volume Pedal or Wah to maintain its position when switching presets, set this to “Global.””

It sounds like you currently have this set to Preset; you may want to change it to Global.

2) When the above setting is Snapshot or Preset the position of the pedal is recalled in the same position that it was last Saved. So you could leave the setting at preset and Save the preset after you have changed the pedal position as desired.

When I switch to a preset using the volume pedal, I briefly press it to max and then back off to min. It seems to "reset" the pedal.

Also important when I use the pedal as a Whammy-style pitch shifter. Otherwise it sometimes sounds out of tune.

It's very difficult to try & help you more without seeing your Pod Go and your settings.  If you are still having a problem it's either because you have done something to your settings or there's a software corruption.  I recommend you back up your Pod Go and do a reboot to factory settings.  If this fixes the issue with the factory patches and when you reload your saved patches back in the problem re-emerges, then the problem is with your settings. I'd then urge you to carefully read the manual and the Pod Go edit manual before changing expression pedal settings to ensure you are following the right sequence. If a reboot back to factory settings doesn't resolve the issue, and the same problem is there with factory patches, then something could be wrong with the software load and you may need to re-install v1.30.  I recommend you raise a ticket with Line 6 support, and attach the back-up to see if they can replicate the issue and help you resolve.  They will then give you instructions on what to do.

HI,thank for your reply。

I've set it to Global  Before Posting this topic

FW is1.3,but it seems strange

As I said, every time I press the pedal to min, and then restart the machine, it‘s loudest  when is turn on, even though the pedal is already at the top !

Is this normal??

I have this same issue.   I save all my presets and snapshots with Volume pedal position at 0%.  PLUS, i have set EXP1 & EXP2 to be "Global" in the Global Settings Parameters.  The volume pedal works as it should AFTER the unit turns on.  If I am at half volume on a preset or snapshot and switch to a different preset or snapshot, the volume remains constant (except for any other variable with amp settings and such within the designated preset).

HOWEVER, even with all presets and snapshots saved with 0% volume and the GLOBAL setting of EXP1 & EXP2, when I initially turn on the PodGo unit, my volume is at 100% even if the volume pedal is at 0%.   It does not matter what preset the unit is on at the time. It happens every time.  There has to be a setting that we are just missing on this or line 6 has a programming error that needs to be patched.   I can't seem to solve it.
