VGuitarist-USA
I have a Line 6 floor and want to play over YouTube videos with the audio going to a pair of Bose BlueTooth headphones. The Line 6 is connected to my Windows 11 laptop via USB and is present in the sound settings (both input and output). I did get it to work using the laptop's sound mixer, but, as reported on this forum, my guitar is slightly delayed. So, it appears I have to use the LIne 6 as the audio hub, but am unsure how to connect everything. I'm also not sure how to get the audio output to my BlueTooth headphones. Can someone bottom line it for me? Thanks
rd2rk
Most of the delay is coming from the BT headphones. Sorry, but unless you get a proper wireless guitar IEM rig, you're not going to be happy with the latency. The cheapest solution in that category is probably the Xvive U4, <>$230. And not stereo.
rvroberts
You will have your computer audio coming out of the headphone out on the Helix if you use it as your audio device. But Bluetooth audio has a delay. As far as I know, it is totally unavailable. Wired headphones into the headphones input on the Helix works fine although some models don’t match well for impedance. that results in thin sound, but most work fine. it’s the best way by far - short of running everything into a mixer - for quiet practice.
SaschaFranck
As has been said, forget about BT for anything regarding live playing through it. Even the latest aptX codecs come with 40ms of latency - way too much for realtime playing.
VGuitarist-USA
Ok, let's say I use a pair of Bose wired headphones, can someone give me the connections from the computer, guitar and headphones? Another configuration could be playing the guitar and YouTube audio through my Fender amp, but the "wife factor" makes it a bit difficult. silverhead
Connect Helix to computer via usb. Connect headphones or amp to Helix outputs. Set your computer audio/sound to use Helix as the audio device.
