ECmaj7
Strange but true. Creating a parallel path on the on HX Stomp the merge mixer show +3 level. On Native or my LT the merge level is 0. This is puzzling..... EC
rd2rk
It's normal. Some sort of audio "summing" rule whereby splitting the path causes a drop in each path's level, so recombining the paths adds 3db. I don't remember the details, but I'm sure someone will jump in with them.
ECmaj7
But it doesn’t happen on the helx LT or native. it’s not a show stopper but strange
rd2rk
Here's a link that might help explain, or confuse you further. Helix Split-Merge Routing does change the level (and other routing measurements) - Helix - Line 6 Community As to why one device does it and another doesn't, you should ask L6 about that. Do post back with their reply.
