That pedal on the Firehawk...

OK, a question: The Firehawk's pedal is a volume pedal by default. It controls the final output of the unit. However...

 

I'd sure like to assign it to the input gain -the signal strength into the unit, pre-FX, so that when I back off the pedal, the gain into the Amp Sim is attenuated. Is there a way to do that?

Actually it controls the level of the signal as it leaves the VOL block at its position in the signal chain. Using the Firehawk app you can drag the Vol pedal to place it at the beginning of the signal chain, or at least in front of the amp. Then it will behave the way you want.
