Doom's Vital Distortion Pedal -- Octave Knob Doesn't Produce an Octave and the Filter Knob Doesn't Do Anything.

Recommended Posts

Hello! Just wanted to verify your DAW and system for QA. I have looked at the Doom plugin and cannot reproduce what you have described. Testing the parameters I noticed with a sine wave that a higher octave is present when adjusting the octave parameter- similar to that of a proctavia, and with pink/white noise the filter seems to to be functioning as a low pass. These parameters may seem more subtle than expected but are functioning on Window 10 [AAX]Pro Tools/[VST]Cubase.
Hope this helps!

I thought I read that the octave control was producing an octave below rather than an octave above. Looks like its working as it should. Thanks for clearing this up.
