avoelp Posted May 29, 2022 Share Posted May 29, 2022 I am considering buying an HX Effects that I would like to connect to my amp using the 4-cable method. Reading through user reviews, some complain about tone degradation and noise issues, particularly when using a 'hot' preamp in a loop of the HX Effects. I also noticed that most of these critical reviews were from 2018/2019, shortly after the unit was introduced. Have these issues been mitigated in the meantime?
