hoosier1929
I just discovered the polycapo functionality in my Helix and I read that it can take up quite a bit of processing power. I have created two snapshots with my normal tone settings and a polycapo block in the chain. One snapshot lowers my pitch by 1/2 step, while the other lowers it by 1 whole step. This seems like a great solution for quickly drop tuning my guitar when necessary between songs. I am curious if this setup consumes processing power at all times even when not using these snapshots, or only when the polycapo snapshots are engaged? Any color on this issue or related topics about the polycapo function is appreciated!
rd2rk
If a Block is assigned, the DSP is in use whether or not the Block is active. 1
