magneticken
Hi I just installed Native trial using Cakewalk Bandlab as a VST host. All seems OK but no Amp Sims?? Am I missing something obvious? Thanks in advance
phil_m
Are you saying the amps are greyed out in the Amp menu? You probably need to turn Hardware Compatibility Mode off in the settings. That artificially restricts the available DSP as of the preset were being made in whatever hardware option you have selected. If that Pitch block is one of the polyphonic blocks, that uses a good amount of the available DSP. But it wont matter if Compatibility Mode is turned off. rd2rk
1-Select an empty Block. 2-Click the DOWN arrow next to NONE. 3-Scroll to the Amp category and click. Select your amp. If you want to replace an effect with another type of effect click the DOWN arrow next to the effect type (DISTORTION in your screenshot) and scroll to the category you want. Hi, Yes, it looks to me as if you have your copy of Helix Native set for HX Effects hardware compatibility mode. HX Effects does not have amp and cab models. Anyhow, set the compatibility mode to either suit your hardware device, or turn the mode "off" then you will notice between the column of preset files and the panel above which reads "SETLIST" in yellow, there will be another panel showing a folder icon and name in yellow text, e.g.: FACTORY 1, FACTORY 2, USER1, USER 2, USER 3, USER 4, USER 5 and finally TEMPLATES. WARNING: If you set the compatibility mode to "Off" all preset slots will be blank and rather than the folder names I indicated above they will call be listed as Setlist 1 through 8. Best set it to match your hardware to avoid any more surprises. Hope this helps/makes sense.
