mperrotti34 Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 The LCD screen on my spider valve HD100 displays 8 black bars. The amp produces no sound. None of the other lights come on and my FBV short board does not work. Does anyone know what causes this problem and/or hown to fix it? jawk Posted May 4, 2014 Share Posted May 4, 2014 Its a case of the CPU board malfunctioning or short circuiting, Surely there has to be a cpu board manufacturer or repairer for these things. Ive taken my amp to a repairer who wanted to replace the whole board because they could work out wherther it was the dsp chip or the other chip on the CPU that malfunctioned, after getting information that the boards aren't made anymore he endeavoured to perform micro surgery on the cpu board to see if the problem could be isolated, success was not achieved.
