Has anyone tried this combo? . Im just wondering if I could "upgrade" the catalyst amp to sound like a fender deluxe reverb.

All the reviews on youtube I have seen, has not been using a real amp, but PA systems or direct into a computer.

I know its possible to use modellers like helix with the catalyst, but not sure how good it sound and feel.

Well that all :)

Sounds and feels great.

Just remember that it's NOT an FRFR speaker, so IRs might not sound as you'd expect.

Also, consider that a DR is a system consisting of an amp, a cab and a speaker.

Your Catalyst will never sound EXACTLY like a DR.

Thanks for the reply. No I dont expect it to sound 100% like a deluxe reverb. But if its close to this, then im happy

Umm, YouTube...

However, I suspect that ITRW, using the UAFX or Helix with Catalyst will be close enough for R'n'R!

Really, there's only one way to find out. Do attach a clip!
