Charlie_Watt Posted March 19, 2014 Share Posted March 19, 2014 You can also use the power supply and TRS cable that they sold for the older Variax but it's a bit on the expensive side. If I did not have an HD500x and VDI cable, I would just use the battery. I did that for the first 6 months I owned my JTV and I always used batteries in my original Variax 500. One advantage to batteries is NO Ground Loops. Batteries are the cleanest power you can get. If I was running on batteries and playing out I would have a spare.
