chrissil Posted August 6, 2022 Share Posted August 6, 2022 What's the best way to connect the Helix using the L6 link to the DT25, on the Pod HD I used the PowerAmp Mode on the Helix I don't know how to do it, my clean presets are all getting a little distorted! Pezza Posted August 8, 2022 Share Posted August 8, 2022 Are you using preamp models on the Helix? If you use the Helix full amp models you are doubling up on the power amp section. silverhead Posted August 14, 2022 Share Posted August 14, 2022 Are you using the default settings for the preamps? Like in the real world of physical amps, some are simply louder than others. The amp models reflect this reality. You will need to balance the levels if you are switching among different preamps. You can store these balanced levels (using the DT25 Edit program I think) so that switching among them is seamless.
