DL4 MkII - Possible to have reverb without delay?

Recommended Posts

I'm a newbie, so please be nice! After 15 years as an acoustic player, I'm slowly working my way into the electric world. I have one question about my new DK4 MkII.

Is it possible to engage just the reverb without a delay? Can I hold the button down and dial in a reverb, let go of the button, turn the knob to Looper and keep the delay? I've experimented, but it doesn't seem to work. Is there a work around like setting a delay to zero or something?

Thanks!

Yes, it’s possible. You can turn the Mix for the delay all the way down and then set the Mix for the reverb to whatever you want it to be. The mix controls of each are completely independent from one another. But the reverb only applies to the preset you save it to.

If you go to Looper mode, you only have access to the echo effect in that mode. You can, however, use the 1-Switch looper and still use the reverb in the preset. You can access the 1-Switch looper by assigning it to the Tap footswitch or one of the external footswitches.
