I'm especialIy interested in Joyo R06 O.M.B but I wonder how it would work with Cat? Is it good or bad idea ? As I understand this is effect pedal so if I plug it to my amp won't my amp settings and effects affect the sound of drums or looped guitar ? Looks like you have "solved" the problem somehow. As I understand I can use looper with Cat but what I need is external overdrive/distortion pedal and all the onboard effect set to "pre-amp". littlespaceman Posted October 26, 2022 Share Posted October 26, 2022 Yes, IMHO the FX loop being before the on board modulation effects is a major flaw of the Catalyst amps, although for some reason some people feel the need to angrily tell me on this forum that I'm the one with the problem because I bought an amp that doesn't do what I wanted it to do...
