Using Ux1 As Audio Interface, Not Using Pod Farm

Recommended Posts

I want to plug my POD 2.0 device into the L/R line inputs of the UX1 and hear it/record it on my computer through USB directly in my recording software.

It seems the only way I can get sound from it is with the POD Farm software running.

Isn't there a way to use it without POD Farm? I thought this was just a USB audio interface.

Please confirm so I don't waste anymore time on it, thank you.

There is no optimal way while using the ASIO driver.. The UX becomes your sound card.

You might be able to select a different driver in your DAW and turn on monitoring, but you will likely hear too much latency.

Or just plug headphones into your POD 2.0

you should be able to do what you want, really...

the toneports and pod studios work just fine without pod farm.

just make sure that you select the right input in the track on your DAW, and that your speakers are plugged into the toneport.
