bekkenjorn
I have a small problem that I hope someone can help me with. When I choose, for example, the PV Panama amplifier, I get a small humming sound for 3 to 4 seconds afterwards. I often hear this sound when I choose a amplifier and run a little gain. The guitar I use is a Statocaster and Telecaster, with no humbuckers. From Jørn in Norway
silverhead
Have you examined the amp’s Hum parameter setting in these situations?
bekkenjorn
I have tried, but without much success. I posted this thread in the hope that someone has a quick fix for the problem.
PierM
Single coils are very sensible to interference (60Hz or 50Hz hum/noise), and that's being enhanced with hi gain amps. See if you find a spot in the room that does reduce the problem.
brue58ski
If you are connected to your computer with a USB cable, try disconnecting that. That adds hum to mine.
Schmalle
Since hum is only for a short time I'd guess (input) gate settings with too long decay, but 4s is too long for that.
