Adding a pedal to the loop in 4CM - confused!

I'd like to add an external boost (TC Spark Mini) pedal into the fx loop of my amp for a clean volume boost, but I'm already running my HX Stomp in 4CM.  What's the best way to connect this?  I'm getting myself a bit confused with all these cables lol

 

(I know the Stomp is more than capable of boosting, but I'm already using all the switches and don't fancy tap dancing too much - plus the Spark has a latching switch feature which I use a lot)

To place the external boost pedal in the amp’s FX Loop you have two options:

- put it between the amp’s FX Loop (Send) output and the HX Stomp Return input. This places your boost before any HX Stomp post-FX Loop processing blocks.

- put it between the HX Stomp Main output and the amp’s FX Loop (Return) input. This places your boost after all HX Stomp processing, making it the last thing in your entire signal chain.
