mdkreger
Currently running a POD Go through a Peavey Valve King. I am considering upgrading to Helix and want to minimize the gear I am hauling around to gigs. Thoughts about running either the POD Go or the Helix through a JBL PRX One array, versus an FRFR cab?
DunedinDragon
Technically the PRX One is a FRFR system, just an unconventional one. I'm not sure there's any particular benefit of the PRX One over a more typical FRFR powered speaker other than maybe the ability to produce a stereo image or maybe get better coverage on stage. codamedia
Many players use the BOSE l1 systems... I can't see the JBL PRX being that much different when compared to similar level/quality Bose system. I've played through a Bose in some small gigs.... the Helix has always sounded fine through those - but I have never used one as my personal monitor.
