I have an FVB3, and I am not sure what you mean by "Scenes in a preset".

Basically, you can do the following:

  • control the presets banks by pressing the up and down arrow keys.
  • control the 4 presets within a bank (A ,B,C and D)
  • turn on and off effects, the FS1, FS2, FS3, FS4 and FS5 keys (these control compression, stomp, echo, modulation and reverb)
  • control tap tempo for the delay with the tap button.
  • use the function key to engage the looper and tuner.

There are a lot of short videos on the FVB3 on YouTube.

Hi Bill,

I know what FBV3 and the switches do...

By "scenes" I mean, instead of FS1, FS2, FS3, FS4 and FS5 controlilng individual effects, they would control multiple effects or parameters at once within a single preset, or so called Scenes.

And my question was about Spider V, the amp has the modeller, FBV3 is just the controller.

Cheers

Understood, to my knowledge the only way would be to switch between presets A, B, C & D to create the ability control multiple effects with a single button.

Example:

Preset A - Fender Twin with reverb (clean)

Preset B- Fender Twin with reverb. compress, EQ, Boost & an overdrive

I am not a POD or Helix User, but I believe both of these products can do what you have said.

Sounds like you should contact Line6 on your question.
