rb3wreath
I’ve just built a flat pedalboard that I can use with both my acoustic guitar (fitted with a K&K Trinity Pro: has both a 9V condenser mic and transducer pickups) and my electric guitars. I opted to use the HX Stomp because I can route the mic from my acoustic guitar to the R input of the HX Stomp and the transducer pickups to the L input. Then I can process them separately with different EQs/etc and then I’m blending them back together send them to a PA from the L Output. I just discovered when plugging in my electric guitars that the electric guitar volume and tone was significantly diminished. It took me a while to figure out, but it seems to be happening because the 1/4” plug for the mic input is plugged in to the R Input on the back of the HX Stomp. When I’m using it with my electric guitar, I make sure to turn off my 9V phantom power (the small silver box at the top right of my picture). If I pull the R Input jack out from the HX Stomp when I’m playing electric guitars through the rig then the volume comes back to normal and isn’t decreased. I guess this is still an “okay” solution for me. It just means that I have to do two different things when switching between electric and acoustic (deal with the R Input being in or out and turning on/off the 9V phantom power). Does anyone know if it’s possible to not have to unplug the R Input and keep to volume at the normal level when switching to play electrics through this setup? rd2rk
Use a Stereo Return Block with the K&K connected to the RETURNS and Electric connected to the L/Mono Input. Put the Return Block in a parallel path and use the PANS to keep the signals separated. Example preset attached. Note the Split Block setting. rb3wreath.hlx

I was using the split block with the L & R inputs and that was working fine enough … for my acoustic guitar. I’ll give the RETURN block idea a shot tomorrow morning. I’m assuming I can use the RETURN just for the K&K’s 9V mic and the L/Mono Input for the K&K’s standard transducer pickups? If so, that’ll be ideal. rb3wreath
Thank you @rd2rk! It works great. Whew! This is gonna be so much better than what I was doing before. I've got the 9V mic output going into the R/Return. Now all I've gotta do to switch to my elec guitar is just turn off the 9V phantom power (and switch to a diff preset). I need to spend a little more time dialing in the EQ, but this new preset gives me a 4dB boost and quick reverb (or whatever other effect I'd need). I doubt I'll ever use the reverb in a gig (bluegrass acoustic with a band), but good to know I've got the option. Trinity Pro.hlx
rb3wreath
Oh, I was going to also mention, I have that preset set up so that in snapshot mode: S1: Pickup and Mic S2: Pickup only S3: Mic only
