Locking the rotating knobs

I'd like to see the option to lock the rotating knobs whilst in 'gig modus'.

This would prevent rotating the knobs whilst unintentionally during live performances, which is exactly what happend to me the other week.

By accident the 'reference' setting of the tuner was changed because of a guitar cable that ran over it. I missed the first three songs frantically trying to figue out what was wrong. That's not what you want during live performances.

I would very welcome the concept of a 'gig modus' where one could opt to temporarily lock/disable knobs and/or buttons at will. That can't be to difficult to achieve.

There is no way to lock settings. I too accidentally changed the calibration of the tuner. Since that happened, I just learned that I need to be mindful of the values that are there. You can make a checklist for yourself of what to do.

I made a video of various other tricks that may help you with playing live.

As for locking the knobs, you can literally tape them all down with some tape.  Or take a piece of rubber and glue it to the Helix so that it touches all the knobs, but lets them be turned.  Or find something online, like this thing:

Honestly, for me, the knobs are not a problem anymore, because I simply learned to double-check this stuff before I start playing.

@MarcelineauYour inquiry about locking the rotary knobs, or perhaps more appropriately: rendering the knobs inert, could be a very interesting and desirable feature for those whom may benefit from it.

Strongly consider searching the ideascale site and if not found previously, submit the feature suggestion.

All the best.
