azion22
Also, what download options are available for the Amplifi?
silverhead
Line 6 offers a few free backing tracks in conjunction with the Jammit app, available with the Line 6 Sonic Port product. That's all that I am aware of. However, you need to purchase most of the Jammit tracks.
Rewolf48
This is the site that hurghanico uses and it looks pretty good but is missing a few that you might expect (e.g. Stiltskin "Inside" which was on every Rock Compilation CD back in the 1990's): http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/
cruisinon2
jamtrackcentral.com is also very cool. (No, I have no affiliation with them, but I have purchased a few things). Not free, and they're not backing tracks for popular songs...rather, it's all original instrumental compositions by some very talented guitarists. Each track comes with the full version of the song, a separate rhythm-only track, a video with close-ups of the entire piece, as well as the whole thing written out in both in standard notation and tabs. Most of the stuff is sold as packages of handful of tunes...newer material can be a little pricey, but the older stuff that's been there a while is not all that expensive. It's a great tool for improving one's improv skills, and "borrowing" some cool licks. Many artists to choose from...imho, some are just doing fretboard gymnastics, but there are more than a few very tasteful players too, most I'd never heard of before. Check out their youtube channel too, you can get previews of a lot of the material, and some entire songs are posted there too.
Guitarplayer1130
I can highly recommend "Pro Band". It's an iOS app that has many backing tracks you purchase for very little money. I'm a blues player and the backing tracks are killer for practicing blues soloing. Search for it on the App Store. BTW, I am in no way affiliated with this app or it's developer. archtopeddy
Thanks fellas for the play-along recommendations! I have tracks from jamtrackcentral and I use them all the time (everyday, actually!). Good recommendation Crusinon. Lots of stuff on the guitarbackingtrack site too -- thanks Rewolf. And Pro Band is very cool. Already bought a bunch of tracks for the price of a couple of burger and fries. Lookin' forward to getting to 'em! (If anybody's interested in Django Reinhart style play-alongs, there's a good app called Gypsy Jazz Jam. Real acoustic instruments so it sounds like you're playing with the Hot Club of France!)
