booker_ch
I have the Nux since a few days and played first with Hx Effects just in the effect loop of the Nux which works fine. Now I try to connect it with the 4 cable method. I'm a bit confused because the Nux as well as the Hx effects have an Fx Send/ret. Should both of them be activated ? So far I got some sounds but overlayed with a terrible noise, this might come from my cheap cables. Need to probably replace them. A Behringer Hum Destroyer helps a little bit, but there is still the noise on it. Thanks for any advice
rd2rk
Guitar>nux input>nux send>hxfx input>hxfx output>nux return>nux output No fx loop block is needed on the hxfx as you’re simply going input to output.

Thanks rd2rk but isn‘t this just inserting via the fxloop ? I‘m interested in the 4CM
bcm27
Hey there! It sounds like you want to employ the 4CM method with the HX FX in the effects loop of the Nux? If so it sounds an awful like my setup on my Simplifier X. Here is the manual spot that helped me out a ton and check out my post on the matter from earlier this year. Its not exactly 1:1 what you want to do (because I was running two parallel amps) but if you copy the AMP A routing you should be fine!
