songtown
I wanted the smallest amp I could get for travel but was afraid the 75 would not have the balls I needed. The 150 came in and I really like it but went to GC to try the 75. I was amazed at the power and tone out of the 75 and for what I use it for it is plenty loud enough and pumps enough low end. So, I am swapping the 150 for the 75 and really enjoying the amp.
gramote
Hi, Good point ! I was more oriented toward the 150 because I though 75 will not be enough ? Could you describe a bit more the usage you have ?
songtown
I am using it for practice and maybe an occasional songwriter demo direct or mic'd. I do not play out but the 150 is crazy loud and cant get over 1/2 volume. The 75 had the same in your face power of the 150 for me, did not feel I was giving up much except for $100 and smaller lighter package. gramote
Do you play electric or acoustic ?
julioborko
I agree, though I don't feel the "custom speaker" in the 75 is as clear as the Celestion in the 150!
