I Miss A Lot Of Postings ...

Recommended Posts

A'm I wrong or have here a lot of postings disappeared?

I miss many very useful topics.

the forum software was updated a while back, and the old posts were archived... not sure if that's what you mean?

I'm only seeing 25 topics posted in the last 12 months which I'm almost certain isn't right. I'm not seeing some of the more interesting ones with much more in depth discussion. I really hope Line6 hasn't removed them - there was a lot of useful information in there.

A person more cynical than I might wonder whether those topics that suggested that some people had experienced more significant problems with their products had been hidden away in order to display only those topics that were easily solved and that showed the products in their best light...

In this sub-forum, I can only see 25 plus this one. There used to be a lot more.

Each of your info is consistent with the other. In both cases the number of posts in the Live Sound subforum is 233 (or 234, depending on the exact time of the snapshot).

Perhaps the missing posts were archived recently as Zap has suggested. But it seems you are not missing anything current. If you want to see posts from other subforums you need to expand your view/filter.

I see what you mean now.

there is simply a single page, even though the counts are right.... i think this is an issue with some posts being hidden/removed that they looked at a week ago....

missed some stuff i think...

i'll elevate.

At the risk of continuing the conspiracy theory, I've just had a look through my browser history. Some vanished topics include:

6721-dropouts

245-odd-popping-sound

3250-line-6-xd-v75-drop-outs-unacceptable

5859-battery-problems-with-xd-v70

All of which I remember well. Are the archived topics still available somewhere? I'm sure Ron has single-handedly posted more than the 78 total replies currently in the XD-V sub forum.

It's not a question of discussiing it, it's a question that the experts who answered these theads are not longer available. I think that all threads with posts from certain people
were removed. I can't find any posts from Ron (greetings from Austria to Australia ;-)))   ) anymore. Bad luck or indention?
I'm realy sad.

Frank
