wcmexbm
Why did you decide to disable amp and effect modelling to the "stereo out" when using the "amp out"? I was hoping these could be used simultaneously, using the amp out to achieve controlled feedback with a low wattage amp while recording this "direct-inject" with modelling through the stereo outs. Triryche
I think for the majority, this is optimal. At least that is how I see the AMPLIFi currently positoned. If you are streaming a song via BT and jammin' thru a real amp, you would want it that way.
ric1966
So, what if you are not streaming? I would think it useful to send a mono signal without cab and mic effects to your amp at the same time you send a signal including cab and mic effects out to the mains. Triryche
I see your point. But in that situation, I personally would rather split and run my raw guitar signal to the amp, and then the rest flows to the main outs. I think it boils down to the intended usage. My perspective is coming from a home studio. I'm running the main outs to my mixer. If I want to jam, all the model/effects go to the main outs, I have no need to separate raw guitar signal to an amp while routing wet to the main outs. But I think the average user will find this configuration pretty slick. Headphones streaming your music while your amp is pushing air!! Exactly, This was my point...I mean, regardless of who this was "intended for" what's the harm in providing a smidgeon of useful functionality? Yamaha? purveyors of status quo products, Because everyone is a beginning student.
Triryche
Maybe that's something they could add to a future firmware. You could submit it on IdeaScale. http://line6.ideascale.com/
