Can I record a tube head with my POD X3 live?

So I just recently got a new head (Laney Ironheart 120W) and I love the tone of it, I use it with my Pod X3 live using the 4CM, and I'm finally happy with the sounds I'm getting from it.

 

Now I'm currently using the Pod X3 live's amp modelling and effects for recording tracks at the moment, but I'd love to use the Ironheart's tone instead, with some Pod X3 effects on top. Is this at all possible to do? I'm recording via the USB on the POD.

Yes, it's possible. You would need to mic the Amp and use the X3 mic input.
