XCrossroadsX2000
Has anyone found a way to use a tablet to control HD 500. I want to run HD500 Edit from my mic stand. If so please post details. Thanks KC
duncann
Unfortunately, an application would need to be written which doesn't exist. In addition to that, it probably wouldn't be a simple matter of just connecting the POD to the tablet via usb. I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but nothing exists presently. radatats
doesn't HD Edit run on an iPad? (I don't have one) I know it won't run on Android... what about a Windows tablet?
duncann
I'm not sure about the iPads. Don't have one and never used one. Now that you mention a Windows tablet, that might actually work. HD Edit would run, assuming the tablet is actually running Windows 8.1. And something like a surface pro has a usb host connection I think. I would wonder about how the user interface would function though. It seems to me that HD Edit (windows) was not designed with a touch interface in mind. The OS would probably take care of at least some of the inputs, but many of them are very small and the UI of the program itself doesn't scale.
