oehman
Didn't need to upgrade - not enough difference between HD500 and HD500X. Well, my eyes are not as good as they were. Brighter display, better switches. A little more DSP, might be useful. No new products on Line 6 horizon (sorry Amplifi) Stupid threads claiming X sounds better... $299 used in GC website.... Sold! For sale - used HD500 $200 Is this the worst place to try to sell one?
stumblinman
I didn't think I'd care about the DSP, but it did allow me to try some new amp combos and I found two so far already I really like for my really crunchy and my pristine clean. Just nice to have the option, you know?
chimp_spanner
200 bucks for an hd500 is a great deal! If I lived in the states I'd snap that up as a backup!

oehman
I should have the 500X this Wednesday. So I'll probably put the 500 up on Craigslist for $225 on Thursday. It is on great shape. I'm in CT, but travel all over New England. If you're interested in purchasing, send me an IM.
juicyjones
I got my HD500X used for us$300 as well and I still feel so lucky it blows me away. I spent the extra money on a new guitar and am now saving for an L2T. New Guitar from money saved:
stumblinman
Is that a Wilshire? They were just blowing those out on musiciansfriend for $199 with the probucker pickups. I don't need one, but damn hard to pass up at that price. I got my HD500X used for us$300 as well and I still feel so lucky it blows me away. Not to hijack this thread, but how's the balance on it? Not a lot of wood for the body, so wondering if it does the SG-style neck/headstock dive. And the price, wow.
