spiro
Hey, I just got a POD500 from the US. Obviously, the power adapter is different. I know the output is 9V - 3A. Will my Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus power this up? or do I need to a) get a AUS Power Supply for the unit or b) get a step down transformer for it? Cheers. :)
Charlie_Watt
I think that the power supply that came with the pod is universal input. Read the label on it but I think all you need to do is adapt the plug to your standard and you should be good to go.
phil_m
The PP2+ doesn't have anywhere near enough available current at the outputs to power the HD500. You could conceivably use the "courtesy output", but that would be the wrong voltage for the US adapter. So, yeah, you'll need to either get the AUS power supply (well, really, you just need the correct insert for the power supply) or a transformer. toneman2121
the ps supplied with the pod is universal. all you need is an adapter plug.
