HD500 feeding a marshall clean and dirty channels

Recommended Posts

is this possible. i want to replace my pedalboard full of fx with the HD500X. but i use a channel splitter to send ut to the clean then the dirty channel of a marshall. so i would need the HD500X to do this too.

any thoughts?

yes u can do this with the dual path feature of the hd500.

if using a JTV it is even more simple:

send the 1/4" out of the JTV 2 ur amp and the VDI 2 the HD500.

voila!

hi - so I've got an old style 1973X - so i need a dual path from the HD500 to the amp. so i plug my guitar into the HD500X then have two cables running to the two channels on the 1973X and use the presets to do the channel switching.

is this possible using this dual path thing?

dual paths give u the option of having 2 different signals coming out of the left and right outputs.

how r u going 2 take advantage of this cool feature, it's up 2 u, i don't know ur specific amp configuration/capabilities.
