Amplifi 150 headphones Out into pa mixer?

FOR LIVE STAGE, I would like to use the headphone out ( amplifi 150) and plug into a pa mixer , so I can get into the band mix. With 5 speakers ,it's not easy to mike the amp unless I use multiple mics.

I'm assuming that the headphone out signal encompasses all the speakers!,,

Some input would be appreciated.

I seem to recall that the headphone output would turn off the internal speakers. That's kind of a fundamental difference between a line out and a headphone out. But it would include the whole sound to make it useful ad a headphone output.

Does anyone know if the headphone jack on the rear of the Aplifi 150 is none or stereo ?? It seems only mono to me. Cheers Jim

Interested to know what the best way to take the Amplify into a mixer. I get from this thread that using the headphone jack is the only way. Using a Mic in front of the speaker would likely be unsuccessful in a live situation given that there are 10 speakers to deal with and given that any distance between the mic and amplify would result in ambient noise leaking in. But as Jim mentions above, do we loose the stereo signal at that point?

There are 5 speakers not 10, and actually, micing the Amplifi with a single mic works pretty well in my experience. And yes, of course, if you do use a single mic you'll lose stereo, but for the vast majority of live situation stereo guitar isn't necessary or even desirable, imo.
