Will Line6 ever give away the POD XT Model Packs for free / at a great discount?

Recommended Posts

I mean, it's not as if investing in it now can mean being able to use it should I eventually upgrade to the HDX series, so it's not such a great buy, right? It'll be nice if Line 6 just archived this and gave it away to people who still love their POD XT / XT Live / XT Pro to bits [like myself].

no... the packs also work with pod farm which is an active product...

if you love the XT enough it will be worth the purchase...

the packs did come free with the x3 models.

I see. I'm curious though: as this POD XT isn't supported anymore, I have been considering buying another POD XT Pro on the used market, a desktop unit, as well as a POD XT Live units so I can share patches across units. My only question is if I buy the packs I want, can I install the packs on multiple devices? Or do I have to buy duplicate packs for several units?

no you can't share anything that was included with a product... only licenses that you've purchased independently.

so i can  share  fx junkie of my xt live to my ux1. how can i do that?

if you buy one of the model packs... you can use it on up to 4 devices and computers at one time...

so you would have no problem using it for your UX1 and your XT both.

so if i buy one of the packs to ux1 only can be use on that unit only, right?
