L6 M5 Volume problems
by therose789 on 2013-03-20 09:50:48.7680

Hello all,

I have a M5 and i love it, however recently i have been having a few issues with it.

If i use the left input it will intermittently Jump in volume quite substantially.

So, trying to problem solve i used the right side, and the volume intermittently will drop out.

I have tried different power supplies since this happened and the same thing happens with that.

Is this something that can be sorted out by factory re-setting or doing something in the settings? (i would rathen not factory reset as i have a tone of presets saved!)

Can anyone help me?

Thanks for your time

Are you sure it's not a bad guitar cable? Other than that, you could try re-installing the firmware. You'd need a MIDI to USB adapter to do this, but it would also allow you to back up your settings.

First get a MIDI device and backup your settings, then try a factory reset.

The information above may not be current, and you should direct questions to the current forum or review the manual.
