asio problems with windows 7

this is nuts ive got a dell duelcore 64 bit 4 gb ram pc 2.70ghz.reinstalled drivers 3 times now and when im in the middle of doing stuff the sound cuts out.i take usb out but it still shows up in sounds (windows 7).i reboot then it says fatal errors.never had this with xp sp3/ever.please can i get help?thank you.also sometimes i put usb lead in and the toneport ux2 clip lights flash and it wont connect.what is asio4all?not sure if that will work.cheers chris.

Just to confirm, if you run Monkey you have green ticks for drivers and firmware.

Also check drivers for your chipsets for your Dell and try different USB ports.
