Pod Farm RTAS Not Working On My PC
by cfoxinvestor on 2009-07-08 08:16:40.2920

I am unable to get Pod Farm RTAS to launch in Pro Tools on my PC.  Looking at the duscussion boards, I notice that 2 other users have had the same issue.  On 5/8/09 "Line6Hugo" replied to "supernaut_i_am" who had the same problem, asking him questions.  In order to speed things along I will answer these questions:

The plug-in files ARE where they are supposed to be:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins\Line 6

The RTAS files DO show up correctly as:

PODFarm.dpm and PODFarm.dpm.rsr

Answers to other questions asked by Line6Hugo:

I see NOTHING in Pro Tools.  NO error messages.  Am able to launch ALL OTHER plug-ins from that folder.

A couple other basic things to check, to be sure:

1. Are you looking in the 'Audiosuite' plugins section? If so, POD Farm is only RTAs, does not show in Audiosuite.

2. Where are you looking for POD Farm in the inserts menu? It should appear in the 'Other' category.

If these are not your issues, please let us know here and complete a support profile on your account:

Thx for quick reply.  NOT looking in audiosuite, AM looking in RTAS/Plug-ins.  HAVE checked in "other" (plug-ins present there, just not POD Farm.

I would recommend that you completely uninstall and re-download and install all of the Line 6 software. Also, which Line 6 device do you have that has the POD Farm Plug-in license embedded into it? Have you made sure to authorize the plug-in license on that computer using Line 6 Monkey? Please check out the following links:

If the above does not work, you may need to try re-installing Pro Tools.
