Line 6 AXSYS 212 = Old Vetta?
by thoog1 on 2009-04-17 11:38:06.9320

Hello, I wasn't sure where to post this but someone has offered me a Line 6 AXSYS 212 in good working condition for $120.00.  Is this a good price and does anyone have experience with this amplifier?  I know this is an older amp but I'm interested in buying for such a low cost if it's worth it.  Any input would be appreciated.

I used the AXSYS212 for almost 10 years and loved it.  The major negative for me was that it doesn't have a lot of effects compared to Vetta and other modern modeling amps.  I needed more WAH options for example.  $120 is an OK price, not great.  Be aware that you probably can never get it fixed since it is no longer manufactured.  If you need manuals or editing software, I think I have copies somewhere on my computer.  thorne

Thanks for the reply!  I don't see too much talk about this old amp so I was curious. It's a AXSYS 212 which includes the foot pedal for $120.00.  I may see if I can talk him down to $75-$100.00.  I wouldn't very many effects and I also have a POD X3 bean which I play thru active monitors.
