Guitar Port Riff Tracker & Gearbox

I had this connected to my old computer & it worked fine.  I have had a new computer for about a year  (Windows 7) & have today tried to install guitar port ,  Riff tracker,  line 6 monkey.  I have a green light on theguitar port but no sound registering when i plug guitar in.  An error communicatong with server sign comes up but i know i am connected to the internet.  Also gearbox won't install & says it is not compatible with 32 bit.  i have updated & installed drivers but still not working.  any help much appreciated

Make sure to apply all available Windows updates using the Windows update application.

Make sure that you have installed GearBox 3.72 from the link below:

Make sure not to install the drivers that are bundled with GearBox as they are outdated. You menitioned that you updated your dirvers already, make sure they are version

Windows Drivers

Once the drivers are installed you will need to make sure you have the latested version of Monkey installed from the link below, running older versions of Monkey can give you a server communication error.

Windows Line 6 Monkey 1.50:

Once Line 6 Monkey is installed, remove any additional unnecessary USB and firmware devices from your computer when troubleshooting this issue. Make sure to connect it directly to a USB port and not a USB hub, extension, or keyboard of any kind, preferably connect it to a USB port on the rear of computer. Try using additional USB cables and every USB port available until you are able to launch Line 6 Monkey and detect the device.

After Launching Line 6 Monkey apply any updates that are available until you have a green check next to each component.

Then try again to get signal into GearBox, make sure and close the app and try another USB port until you can receive input into GearBox.
