POD HD mobile app
by nachofortunato on 2013-02-12 05:15:27.1480

This os not a doibt but a request to line6 debelopers.

I'm a happy HD300 user and I love the product. But... configurating my custom tone and effects is a little anoying if a don't do it the PC/MAC application.

Having said that you may think, "so what?". The problem is that I don't carry everywhere my laptop.

But I DO carry my cellphone!!!

So I thought that it was a good idea to have an app that would let us twick our tone directly from our phones.

There are a lot of new ipedals nowadays, but I'm not talking about that. Just a simple interface to work with the POD HD without having to connect to my computer.

That's all.

Any thoughts???

I just bought a Windows Surface tablet and am hoping Line 6 implements something for tablet users. Editting would be so much easier.

A number of people have suggested iOS/Android/Symbian/Psion S3/whatever mobile platform apps in the past.  there are no signs that there are any coming ... indeed the PC app has only been updated to accommodate changes introduceed by new firmware and bugfixes.

Nothing to stop you from posting a feature request to the developers though.  :Link here -->">">

That was exactly my point! With all the easy to use technology that we have today is not serious to be twicking knobs with a mouse in my desktop! Totally annoying hahaha

Back in my day, we moved a cursor on a screen with a mouse... That's the way it was, and we liked it!">">

Haha no offense! Back in your days that was top technology, now it's not.

Personally I would prefer that could program the Pod via a command line interface (CLI)

That way I could batch up text commands of all my favourite settings and just tweak those!
